Daniel Cormier Signed Photo UFC 266 – Belts

The legend that is Daniel Cormier dominated UFC for such a long time. He has an incredible legacy that has made him one of the biggest names in UFC history. 

This photo shows the world-class fighter celebrating with both his belts. Two belts, two divisions, one man. Cormier became the second fighter in UFC history to hold two belts at the same time and this is the evidence. Minutes after winning his second belt, Cormier with both of his hard-fought belts. Cormier’s first belt came just six fights into his career with UFC. At the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Daniel ‘DC’ Cormier took on Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson for the light-heavyweight title. DC managed to win with an incredible rear-naked choke in the third round. Cormier went on to make four title defences at light-heavyweight before turning his attention to the heavyweight division.  

Stipe Miocic had been running riot amongst the UFC’s heaviest and strongest fighters. Having retained the championship for over two years, DC decided it was time he found out just how good Stipe was. At the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, on July 7 2018, the incumbent light-heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier took on the incumbent heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic for the title at 265lbs. Cormier chiselled his name into the UFC history books as he knocked Miocic out in the first round with a brutal combination. This made him the second ever fighter to hold two titles at the same time.
